ASBIS @ Dubai World Game Expo 2008

ASBIS was taking part in international gaming exhibition – Dubai World Game Expo (UAE), on October 28-30th. The exhibition was under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. Together with Nokia and local communication mammoth Etisalat, ASBIS’s stand #04 was located in Hall 2 of the ultra comfortable Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Among the exhibitors – local and international companies, producers of games and software for children, as well as regional cartoon manufacturers and distributors of professional design software and hardware.

A lot of visitors showed interest in ASBIS. Our stand presented the products and technologies of AMD, ATI, Sapphire & ECS. We brought latest AMD Phenom CPUs, ECS motherboards, including Extreme and Black series, Sapphire Radeon HD cards, including one of the most powerful – Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 X2 (2GB GDDR5), that was introduced to the region by ASBIS. 

Visitors were able experience the power of latest AMD/ATI Sapphire/ECS technologies on ASBIS stand by playing on the demonstration machine, powered by AMD Phenom X4 9950 and the above mentioned Sapphire VGA super-card.

The first two days were for professionals. One of the most interesting events for visitors is going was at the last day (October 30th) – Dubai World Game Championship .
