Toshiba New RMA Procedure 2008
Dear Business Partners,
Please note that there is a new RMA procedure being put in place for the Toshiba PC Options, Peripherals & Service Business.
All Toshiba Options come with a certain warranty, ranging from 1 year to 3 years, depending on the product. From January 2008 onwards, any Toshiba Options product that has a manufacture defect and is still under warranty will fall under the new procedure.
The “defect options report” needs to be filled out by the distributor each time a defective option is returned, this form needs to be submitted to Toshiba Gulf on a monthly basis directly to Lester Govias. As soon as this report is received a credit note will be issued to the same effect.
Please ensure that all customers that return a defective Toshiba Options product are offered the following replacement procedure:
1. Get a new replacement immediately
2. If out of stock, request the customer if they are willing to wait for a replacement
3. Get 100% cash back
